Hell, Jean and Scott have 4 kids and a grandchild...I'm sure Alison would be cool with finding out she has a son.

No one told Longshot either. In my head-canon, he learned it accidentally during his time in XFI by touching Shatterstar or one of his belongings, hence triggering his psychometric powers.

Shatterstar wiped his parent's memories of his birth supposedly in order to not mess up (even more) space-time. Maybe Longshot wanted to respect his resolution so he didn't tell Alison about his discovery, but...what's of her legitimate rights, then?

hmm don't think that a person growing up without parents in a world where the concept of parents was raritywould ever feel comfortable enough to yell out Mom in a desperate situation.

Yeah but he has almost zero relationship with his parents esp Dazzler. I think it's Sooooo weird /irksome that theirs adult characters who meet their adult parents and instantly begin calling them Mom...a term I believe describes more than who donated your DNA.. calling Her Alison or Dazzler would be more 'in character"

BTW Longshot KNOWS the TRUTH , in the Longshot Saves The Marvel Universe (2013) min-series, he reveals to an acquaintance during a conversation about who is less lucky|more unlucky, that his own son is also his own father.

Yeah. It is nice that Longshot knows but when will marvel comics do a story when Dazzler will discover that she is a mother?
To me it would be appropriate to do it in a marvel comic published in May 2019, the month of Mother's Day!

I know Shatterstar was a bit busy in his mini, but I'm a little disappointed there wasn't even a passing mention, particularly with Seeley writing Dazzler in his next Marvel assignment. Maybe something will come up in X-Tracts. Maybe there's a weird mandate on the topic. Maybe it was retconned in house and we've yet to be told. Would be nice for some acknowledgment.

In the same way Fabian Nicieza made Spiral turn out to be Ricochet Rita through time paradox, Peter David made Shatterstar turn out to be Longshot's father, and Longshot turn out to be Shatterstar's father through time paradox as well too.

Here's the breakdown:

Longshot gets created by Arize. Longshot becomes rebel leader-fallen messiah of Mojoworld.
Longshot flees to Earth. Longshot joins the Xmen. Longshot meets Dazzler. Longshot and Dazzler. get married.
Longshot impregnates Dazzler. Dazzler gives birth to Shatterstar. Longshot and Dazzler somehow absolutely forget about their baby.
Shatterstar joins Xforce. Shatterstar is revealed to either be asexual and|or aromantic or just simply merely inexperienced with sex.
Shatterstar encounters Benjamin Russell: Comatose-for-life, possibly brain-dead since his powers activated. No living relatives. Physically identical to Shatterstar.
Shatterstar gets killed by Mojo. Longshot transplants Shatterstar's spirit into Benjamin Russell.
Shatterstar-in-Benjamin-Russell's body later becomes extremely libidinous pansexual|panromantic.
Shatterstar-in-Benjamin-Russell's body goes back into the past of Mojoworld. Benjamin Russell's body gets cloned by Arize.
Longshot is the clone-son of Benjamin Russell. Benjamin Russell is the clone-father of Longshot.
Shatterstar is the biological son of Longshot. Longshot is the biological father of Shatterstar.
Shatterstar is the clone-grandson of Benjamin Russell. Benjamin Russell is the clone-grandfather of Shatterstar.
Shatterstar's spirit is inhabiting the body of his own grandfather who looks him like because of recessive genes.
Benjamin Russell's body is inhabited by the spirit of his own grandson who looks like him because of recessive genes.

That's pretty horrid. I never ever liked the idea of Cable and Rachel interacting with their young parents as teammates. It's quite cringeworthy.
