X-Men fans:
So lame they ever use comic book costumes
*get Psylocke*
Eww she looks like a Cos Player
I feel like people are complainers. Always gotta complain about something.
That trailer spot looked good.

Realistically speaking about fictional matters. | Nutcases need not respond. | Stay outta my DMs. | Why does the "House of Ideas" keep duplicating characters?! | If an idea or belief cannot stand up to criticism it's probably... bad.
Psylocke looks amazing. I'm glad she's in a purple costume and not basic black. I prefer my Betsy with pants, but I can make an exception because I understand that the Hand costume is one of her iconic looks.
I also like the purple highlights mixed with her brunette hair. In the comics, I prefer her hair to be a completely deep purple hue, but this movie look works for "real life". Olivia really looks the part of a Eurasian Psylocke.
But yeah I feel y'all on all the negativity. Sometimes I feel like some kinda ditz with all of that going around while I remain positive, but it's like that at my job too so nothing new lol.
lol I've largely had nothing negative to say about this film.
DOFP might have been influenced by MCU, but it is still far and away a different approach to the superhero genre, and focused far more on character, drama and substance than special effects and set pieces.
This film, from what little we have seen, seems to be going full blown into the Avengers style of filmmaking, which quite frankly I see as a huge regression.
I also acknowledge that I could be completely wrong as all I've seen is a trailer and a TV spot. This could end up having all the character, drama and substance I could ever hope for for all I know. As someone else said, it's a 30 second super bowl trailer.
Well, the Avengers didn't really 'do it', did they? Thor wore his armour, not a costume, Black Widow and Hawkeye wore their Ultimate outfits, and Tony wore his robot suit. The only one in costume was the good Captain and that was explained a long time ago.
Check out Nagasonic Teengae Warhead and Colossus's costumes in 'Deadpool' - that's how the X Men should look, I think. Black highlighted with the 'original' costume colours.
I complain when they just wear featureless black outfits, I liked it when Beast wore Wolverine's Ultimate outfit in X3, I liked it when they wore something closely resembling the original costumes in First Class, I even liked it's Emma Frost more then most on this board, wish they hadn't killed her off along Banshee, Angel and Azazel so Days can just be about the usual suspects again. And Psylocke looks fine. Hell of a lot better then what the good guys are wearing (save Xavier and Jubilee).
