Who thought Starbrand & Nightmask duo book was a good idea.
I don't remember ever seeing a Marvel book going down to 11k with 2nd issue.

That debut for A-Force is very weak compared to the #1 in May at 114,184 units. This #1 is down 42.5% and the 2nd issue drop will be putting it in range where the final issue did at 41,337.

No matter what Marvel does, the Inhumans will never reach the popularity levels of the X-men.

Glad to see Nova is # 50 instead of 101. Nvm I didn't see that this was only for Marvel comics

It's kind of like movies. People enjoy talking about how big the box office will be rather than the movie itself.

Howling Commandos of SHIELD back issues are about to become collector's items. When Glyph shows up in other comics, or maybe gets her solo, people will be looking for her first appearance/origin. :-)

I'm just interested to see which books are doing bad. I want to know which ones are in danger of getting cancelled so I can plan what I buy according to that.

I also like seeing what people love and don't love very much.

It's very strange in this forum thou for ppl to be constantly talking about sales but considering the frequent posters that bring them up it's not hard to deduce why.

    Source?

There are some really solid numbers in these estimated sales, particularly ANAD Avengers, Extraordinary X-Men, Thor, Deadpool and ASM. ANAD Avengers seems to have really found its footing at that 57k mark. Not a bad place to plateau at all.

Then there are some really poor numbers and some not so stellar debuts. I don't think I've seen that many Marvel books below 30k ever. At this rate, anything selling around 35k right now will only go 12 issues.

lol @ Agents of SHIELD debuting at 35k though. Retailers learning from last time not to over order that book.

It looks like Carnage and Vision are the only two brand new ANAD launches that are succeeding. Who on Earth thought that it was a good idea to launch Starbrand and NIghtmask? A 58% drop and only 11000 in sales for issue #2! Terrible sales for Weirdworld #2 down to 17000. Marvel's push to make this a major part of the MU really hasn't worked which is a shame because Del Mundo's art is amazing. Marvel's flooding of the market with new titles is unlikely to give any of the titles a decent chance of longevity.
