Default who should direct the next big X-men movie?

So X-men Apocalypse will be out in few months.
We don't know yet how Bryan Singer's movie will do in boxoffice or how the reaction from critics will be...

HOWEVER... Lot of people are having mixed feelings about him directing the x-men movies.

Supposing that a new X-men movie will follow Apocalypse in 2 years if the same pattern continues; who do you think should direct this movie?
Do you want Bryan? do you trust his vision? If not who else?

James Cameron should direct but he should not write the script by himself

I wish this can happen... but James Cameron is busy with his Avatar sequels...

I'm fine with Bryan Singer, we wouldn't have these movies if it weren't for him. But, if I had to pick someone to direct an X-Men film, it would be Christopher McQuarrie or Brad Bird.

I like the Brad Bird idea. Live action Incredibles!
Hell, if he wrote it we could finally get a delightfully bitchy Emma... somehow.

Singer is good. I would be ok if he will stay.

Doug Liman will be my choice. He is a great director. He should direct it after Gambit solo.

I'd be cool with Matthew Vaughn coming back. Kingsman was Amazeballs. Of course a James Cameron would be terrific but don't see it happening.

Vaughan did well with Kick Ass and First Class. I'd love Cameron, at least his women would be good, but sadly I doubt if he would.

If James Cameron will direct, the next X-men movie will gross more than 2 billion dollars.

Cameron will never happen. Though I would be interested in what he can bring to the x-films. Maybe epic battles.

I am tired of the fear of Xmen costumes from Singer time for change. Let's give Peter Jackson a shot or Christophe Gans.

Peter Jackson at least had the decency to read the Lord of the Rings before making it into movies(quite successfully). The excesses of the Hobbit trilogy notwithstanding, he's not afraid of strong women(Galadriel is everything great about Claremazons) and has proven himself adept at the spectacular and epic. I say thee yea!
