Default Horrible comics that you actually kind of like anyway

Because I will admit it - I know objectively that it's bad and the old Life Of Reilly columns laid bare what a mess the planning had been and what's up with some of those costumes, but I read the Clone Saga when I was 12 and I still think of parts of it fondly. Ben Reilly, I still like him. JM DeMattias' two miniseries about Kaine and Ben (The Lost Years and that other one that I can't remember), I'd say were great even though they're nothing like the rest of the Spider-line at the time (probably because of it): stripped down takes on these two guys and their mess.

Maximum Clonage still had a dross ending. My 12-year-old self wasn't that dumb.

I loved the Huntress Maxi series, but I get the feeling you're not looking for so bad it's good. I liked Project Superpowers. I can't call it horrible. The art was a little tiring.

I've always liked Rob Liefeld's marvel stuff. I kn ow it's an unpopular opinion, but the guy's always had a certain energy and enthusiasm in his works.

Anything Barry Blair has ever done. Not that it's all horrible, but it's not all good either, and I like all of it.
Silverwolf and GMC comics. Nostalgia mostly, since I had pretty much all of them from the quarter bin as a kid.

    John Byrne's Superman

It's bland, usually mediocre stuff that is often silly and shallow, but it is drawn so damn good that I just love to pour over the art anyway.

I liked his Wally Flash run, GL: Rebirth, and about 80% of Flash:Rebirth.

    Superman at Earth's End

This is generally referred to as one of the worst comics ever.

But I LOVE it. I'm not sure if it was intentional, but it's just so far over the top it feels like a parody of bad 90s comics, rather than just a bad 90s comic itself.

I still own some of his New Mutants and X-Force runs.
