Default Is there any way to get the regular website on a mobile device?

The mobile version of the site is very sterile and lacking a lot of the features that the regular site has. Is there anyway to change it so you're viewing the regular site when using a mobile device?

The mobile version is laggy and it's so small that it is nearly unusable.

My Tablet can normally handle regular web sites, but it seems to be defaulting to the mobile version. Usually when that happens in the past on other web sites I was given a choice of which version to use.

Exactly! I'm not getting a "switch to full site tab" and it's infuriating.

Same here. I hope this is temporary and we get the option back soon. You can't even check setting on the mobile site. Ridiculous.

Most devices have a 'use mobile version if available' option in the browser settings, may want to look there and make sure it's de-selected.

If possible, I recommend that CBR look into activating these forums into Tapatalk. Its fully compatible with vbulletin and would provide a nice convenience for the community.

Unfortunately it's a bad option for CBR. I explain why here: http://community.comicbookresources....p-a-New-Server

My phone and tablet are defaulting to mobile, but aren't having any trouble switching to desktop when told to.

    Hey Folks,

We kept the standard mobile version of the new community on as a test. If you'd like us to turn it off and adopt something else, we can.

We're about ready to fully jump in to mobile in the Community, but three things need to happen first.

    1. Need to upgrade the server. (next two weeks)
    2. Need to get our new ad server up and running (next two weeks)
    3. Need to brand a new mobile version of the forums -- Tapatalk is what people like? How about Forum Runner?

Thanks for the reply. I don't wanna speak for everyone, but all I'd like is an option to turn the mobile site off.

I'd also like an option to switch to desktop mode on my smartphone.
