Moving on, does anyone have a favourite female villain? (I don't think we've discussed this).

damn... actually thinking about it, i can't think of any from marvel, selene, hela, amora and deathstrike are all awesome, but i don't think i would favorite them.
will have to think on this.

I seem to have liked the Necrosha arc a bit more than most X-Fans.

same here, i thought it was dark mysterious and absolutely epic.
also Blink being a Villain Temporarily was awesome, Crain made her powers seem really badass.

For what it's worth, back in the the early 80's when Marvel still had the rights to Red Sonja, they did briefly put her in real clothes

My first thought was Jessica Jones, but since it's a drawing of some of the most iconic Marvel women, I believe it's Black Widow.
Next to She Hulk: that must be Scarlet Witch.

I suppose that actually is pretty equivalent to how Conan was dressed. Actually, her outfit there is way more modest than what Conan wore. On the other hand, even her chainmail bikini is more modest than Conan's typical outfit at the time.

I would say that the female equivalent would be when they brought Belit into the comic. Conan had his fur loincloth thing and she had her fur bikini thing.


of the top of my head I can't think of a time when a male barbarian was ever put in chainmail speedos...

I would say that a couple of female villains who have a lot of potential but haven't totally gotten their due would be Mystique and Viper/Madame Hydra. I think either one of them could be the ultimate femme fatale/criminal master minds of the MU

Marvel seems more content to make Mystique into their version of The Joker: completely insane, causing chaos for chaos's sake, and getting away with it almost every time.

Well Wolverines comes out next month and she is part of the cast. We will see if that is really the case.
