It's hard to care about the female appreciation when one of the best female heroes has been so shafted. It would be nice if the most popular female hero with actual female readers, ROGUE, could get some love or a cover or two. In 2 years of UA and now 3 issues into the relaunch and she is still relegated to background noise. Not very progressive Marvel!

Hopefully she will make one of the variants for March, but at this rate, I highly doubt it.

Yea, Really Rogue has Been at Center Stage in AXIS and been loving Every moment of it and Now Marvel Needs to Get into Gear and get her many more covers. Jen I think got RR to change his use of Rogue over a year ago and it has seemly worked to a nice degree since then.

Now I think Jen should let Marvel in more ways then one Know that we Want More Rogue Covers Like the Ones Below, the High Flyer Should and Deserves Them!

Pichelli's cover for Spider-Gwen #2 is pretty awesome.

Really looking forward to that book, I'm hoping it can reach the same level of success that Ms. Marvel has.

Yeah Rogue's been a big part of AXIS, as one of the "evil" inverted X-Men who's acting like a psychopath and following Apocalypse. So it's basically Remender taking a dump all over her character all over again, just in a different way. God do I HATE AXIS and this whole "inversion" nonsense..

Very nice! And it's by a female artist, too!

    Yep...

    Thanks again, Remender... *not*

In more positive news, this Variant Cover for the upcoming UXM #29 seems to be a step in the right direction:

    What do y'all think?

I like it. Never been a fan of the current one.

The costume is growing on me, but I prefer Anka's version than Rodriguez's slightly different version.

The costume looks nice. Honestly though, the artist doesn't show it off well enough with that pose.

I actually really love Javier Rodriguez' rendition of it and the fact that he'll be taking over art duties from Greg Land. With a writer like Dennis Hopeless whose writing can really relate to the audience without becoming "Bendis-speak," this new artist who gives Spider-Woman the same tone as Fraction's Hawkeye, and, finally, the Spider-Verse tie-in to launch her series to the #5 sales ranking above the likes of Iron Man and Deadpool, I actually have high hopes for this book now.

I personally would have taken away the black spider legs on the chest and made the pants red with black shoes. That would have kept it in tune with her classic look. But I love the design either way.

Yeah, Pichelli is super talented. I hope she lands on a book I read soon.

This is the pic that sold me on the redesign. Is this by Rodriguez? It's the only pic that gets the glasses right in my humble opinion. The mask is horrid and the solid yellow lenses don't work for me.
