Teasing us that they won't destroy DC anymore than they already have with their "new" ideas.
Things I love: Batman, Superman, AEW, old films, Lovecraft
Grant Morrison: “Adults...struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life. Adults foolishly demand to know how Superman can possibly fly, or how Batman can possibly run a multibillion-dollar business empire during the day and fight crime at night, when the answer is obvious even to the smallest child: because it's not real.”
What in the Flying Frak!!!!!!!
If this is DC back-pedaling the Nu52 = Reboot then WTF!!!!
*************************
Now if this teaser is them saying that #Rebirth was Never a Reboot to begin with; rumor from BC; then fine.
Heh. They're clearly aware of the reboot rumours at least.
Ah well, the teaser didn't really reveal anything except what they say about it not being a reboot.
My response to DC...
How about an update on what Rebirth is instead of telling us what it isn't?
They've been saying consistently that it's not a reboot. The last thing they need to do is spend 2 years reintroducing the characters' status quo again. Hopefully, the Rebirth issues will lay out the timelines, supporting cast and current situation as far as what is the same or different from the New 52...and then get on with it. Going back and reading GL: Rebirth should give us a roadmap of what they are doing
New 52 lives!!!!
I hope not. Not sure what Marvels expectations were for ANAD, but the non ASM-DP drop off for the books i pull seem to be disappointing. DC won't fair any better if relaunch fatigue is real.
My guess is its a rebirth of a character like the did Green Latern Rebirth and Flash Rebirth. Probably going to be a single title, Rebith"whatever character". I know they anounced more titles like bring back JSA but theres been no proof it has anything to do with rebirth. Or Maybe it is Rebirth JSA who knows
"And it never was" would seem to refer to the New 52 itself no? By itself "it's not a reboot" means post-52 continuity is here to stay. But that line makes it seem like they are backpedaling. (shrugs)
Either that or they're just trying to throw us the scent (shrugs)
I'm not one of those who thought it was a reboot in the first place though I always felt at most it was a relaunch with maybe some retcons here and there.
