Voted Sex Criminals, though I must admit I haven't read Alex+Ada or Wicked+Divine yet. Both are trade-waits for me.

This is hard. I read Alex and Ada and the Wicked and the Divine, and they were both wonderful. I think I might have to go with The Wicked + The Divine though. It was a strong first issue.

Manhattan Projects. It wasn't the best issue ever, but it was a lot of fun if nothing else.

I agree Alex + Ada was great, but ill give The Wicked + The Divine a slight edge.

Just finished the first issue of The Wicked + The Divine and thought it was a strong debut issue. Beautiful looking book.

Torn between Alex + Ada and Wicked + Divine. Liked both issues but I'll give edge to Wicked + Divine just for strong debut issue. Really close call.

The Wicked + The Divine #1 but that's not really saying much. It's pretty average and forgettable, but at least it wasn't Sex Criminals #6 which was BAD and forgettable.

What a lackluster week all around. Only two comics were great out of the 12 or so I read.

Really? I loved Sex Criminals 6! The series took a turn to the surprisingly depressing but it was handled really well, I thought, and sets up the rest of the arc perfectly. Plus, it also featured a particularly great letter column, which was a mixture of your typical dick jokes with some actually pretty interesting sexual psychology too.

Ads it stands, it's probably my pick of the week though I really liked the Wicked and Divine and haven't gotten round to Fatale yet.

I thought the tone felt off, making me unsure how to feel during the entire comic. Should I be laughing, should I be moved by what he is going through, such and such. I only chuckled once through the entire book and found that everything feel flat or couldn't tell if there was suppose to be a joke in certain scenes. Finally, I find it hard to sympathize with the characters, as well developed as they are. They sort of brought this all on themselves, even if their intentions were good.

It's a good setup for sure and I'm happy we are finally beyond the story structure where they dragged the crime and flashbacks out so much that it made it personally hard for me to care about anything (okay comic, I know enough about these two already, just focus on the damn bank robbery!), but it's kind of empty.

Sex Crimz (also amazing but can only vote one)

Sex Crimz was anything but "bad" and "forgettable". It was the best issue of the series. So. Many. Feels.
