I'm not much of a PAD fan, I admit, but I was rereading his Reed Richards mini recently and I hadn't really noticed what it means that Reed's narrating, in terms of all the beautiful women throwing themselves at him and him not noticing, even though his son blatantly calls him on BSing the scenes where he's not present or the big action sequences. That's an interesting angle on Reed and one that works a lot, I think, for the same reasons that it initially bothered me in the story, since I was taking it not as a story he was BSing but something closer to reality.
