DC Announces Full "Rebirth" Line, Twice-Monthly Books, Lowered Price Point

Oh wow, here we go. I'll give some brief thoughts.

Superwoman? Who could this be. Usually Superwoman has been Earth 3 Wonder Woman but that doesn't seem to be the case. Super Sons, what could that be as well? Two GL books here. One says Green Lanterns and the other is Hal and the Corps, so both are plural here. Birds of Prey are back, I really hope it's not the current versions because it ruined Black Canary but it probably will be. JLA is back, probably continuing Hitch's run since he has more planned. Red Hood and Outlaws is back, which likely means more team members for Jason and Roy, I kind of hope they bring Essence back. 32 is quite a small set of titles at the moment which could be a good thing, but there is some stuff missing (could use Dark Universe stuff or Batwoman getting titles for example). Glad to see Supergirl is back, but again we need to know more about creative teams here. Action/Detective getting their numbers back is interesting, but I assume trades will start again with Vol 1 etc with this run. Very interesting to see Blue Beetle is back with a solo, that was a surprise. Everything $2.99 because DC rules :P Rebirth one-shot sounds cool, some real awesome artists we got there.

Wow, that's a LOT of twice monthly titles.

Sure they'll lower the price to 2.99, but then you'll end up spending $6/month per title on some of them.

And does this mean no Suicide Squad, Harley, etc from June until the Fall?

I'm sure they'll be something with suicide squad/Harley.... There's a film out....

I'm definitely on board for the justice league and Titans titles; supergirl, superwoman and super sons, and blue beetle also intrigue me. The rest I'm going to wait to hear more about before I decide if I'm interested.

So 17 titles that are going to be published twice a month? Too ambitious but cancellations will be in the works so those 17 are sort of a pipe dream.

I'm liking the 2.99 price points, and very much glad Gotham Academy will still be continuing. Looking forward to Gotham Academy: Next Semester the most of all these titles. I'm also interested in the upcoming Nightwing series.

This line-up has me more excited than the 2011 New 52 line-up. Happy about $2.99 price. Surprised there are more bi-weekly titles than monthlies! I want to know creative teams! Glad there's Titans and Teen Titans! Batgirl in 2 books! Dick back as Nightwing! Hope Earth 2 brings back Classic JSA! Super Sons and Super Woman have me curious! Supergirl is back, good I like her TV show! Hope Blue Beetle is Ted Kord! Looking forward to Justice League and JL America teams! WHERE'S SHAZAM and Legion of Super Heroes?! Cannot wait until May 25 DC Universe Rebirth and all of these Rebirth Specials and new #1s! Great day to be a DC fan!

Well they have reduced the amount of titles but still to many comics a month though if they do keep to this with no mini's, weekly's and event titles for even 6 months it will allow comic shops to actually stock the full range in racks rather than subs only.
