Default Greatest Trash Talker of all time?

Trash Talking: insulting or boastful speech intended to demoralize, intimidate, or humiliate someone, especially an opponent in an athletic contest, but can also be used in a humorous spirit.

That's how we are judging this.

So from Larry Bird to Muhammad Ali, who is the greatest trash talker in sport history?

I've heard other players mention that Michael Jordan did a lot of trash talking on the court, but most people overlooked it because he had such a clean image in various ads.

Outside of sports, I've heard that Oscar Wilde was a master of the insult.

There's a website that compiles insults, and the Oscar Wilde page alone has hundreds, both from his works, and in his life.

    Hundreds.
Yeah, but if you... man, we're getting into weird analogy territory, like if you disintegrated Superman's arms he wouldn't be able to go "fool! Little did you know that my arms and I are one and can be remade from me!" and will his arms back into being from pure nothingness. - Pendaran

The Rock has turned into a joke since his return . Though to be fair most WWE characters are jokes these days compared to what they used to be . Which is why it's a pity when the only wrestler to go over since Jeff Hardy's main event run ( aside from Punk who didn't really do it in a normal way ) is forced to retire and we have more mediocrity shoved down our throats

You must not be paying too much attention to Owens and Ambrose, then. Those guys are over like rover. Other than that, I agree with your point.
