Wonder Woman Villains Sightings

I'm interested in Gundra and the Duke of Deception but there is hardly any information of them online. Anyone have scans showcasing the notable moments with those characters?

Some rather recent-ish stuff done with them was Gundra was established as having tried to invade Themyscira in the ancient past with the Valkyries as well as being an ancestor of Paula Von Gunther. This is from Orlando's run. She also showed up in an issue of AOP.



For Duke of Deception he's only sporadically been in WW stuff since post-Crisis. But as AmiMizuno brought up, a reinvented version of showed up in the Legend of Wonder Woman book from a few years back. I thought it was pretty cool, would have a made good basis for the villain of WW84 over more Max Lord.

I love this modernized look, and how prominent she is on the page. With her appearances in Future State and this appearance, I hope we can expect more.

I like the green. Green is such a nauseating and unsettling color, and I think it goes well with this intense and ruthless Hypnotic Woman update.

I haven't seen anything to support this. My guess is that one of the two was a typo at some point by a creator.

Gundra mentions having fought with and for the Amazons before, which ties up with Orlando's run. I'm fine with her swapping between Gundra and Gudra (personally I'm not a huge fan of "Gudra").

The DC wiki actually has Hypnota as a redirect to Hypnotic Woman. Seemingly the original incarnation used both names.

Yeah, seems like it. she’s only been in 3 issues.

In Future State she wants to be Diana so she uses her powers to look like her. Don’t know if that carries over to the main comic since she hasn’t had any speaking lines yet.

She has a fair amount of lines in the preview which had me taken aback.

I honestly though she was going to be more of a background character. Glad she’s not though!

Maybe she’ll even get some action.
