Default Are TWD HC compendiums oversized?

I'm just wondering if the limited edition hardcover compendiums are the same size as the softcover ones (standard comic book size) or if they're oversized like the standard hardcovers. I'm looking at getting into TWD and I'm trying to decide between the HC compendiums, the omnibuses or the standard Hardcovers.

Edit: probably should have posted this in the classics and collected ed. Forum. Srry.

Pretty sure they are the same size as the soft cover compendiums (which are not oversized). My opinion is the standard hardcovers (which are a bit oversized) are the best value for your money.

Hrmm, two people talking about things that are hard and oversized.

It almost would seem pornographic if you two weren't dudes.

Money wise, I don't see too much of a difference. The standard trades are half the size and half the price, the hardcovers are twice the size and roughly twice the price. But if you're all about putting your comics on display, the hardcovers are the way to go.

I highly recommend picking them (Hc's or trades) up from http://www.gohastings.com

They're a licensed retailer, their prices are better, their shipping prices can't be beat, and their return policy is simplistic and fair to the consumer. I've been far more impressed with them than Amazon as of late, they actually know how to ship a comic while Amazon it's hit and miss when it comes to the condition. But I don't blame Amazon's warehouse workers for mishandling goods, they're supposedly underpaid and not allowed to use the AC even during the hottest months in the summer. I mean that's pretty barbaric when one keeps in mind one of their warehouses is in Reno, Nevada. It turns into an oven out there during this time of the years.
