Maybe this event'll be used to reunited him with Tempest.
All crossovers seem to come with the creative bankrupt idea to kill someone. To which an editor agrees for 'x' reason.
I hope that doesn't happen as I think Miguel is the next most marketable Spider character to headline a film. Yes, more than Miles.
A Miguel movie in the future is different for a host of reasons. A Miles movie is just another spiderman movie with a new ethnicity in the same era/setting and trappings.

Both 2099 suits will be in the new game!

And it looks like suits come with differing movesets and stuff, and aren't just cosmetic!
I have now a whole new appreciation for the ANAD 2099 suit thank to the game, I pretty much made it my main one
I'll maintain that it always looked good everywhere but in the comic
Miguel was from the future, where (or when) such things would presumably not be as big a deal anymore. Also, the "Spider-Man from the future" angle was pretty compelling in and of itself. Of course, if we go there, Anya Corazon beat Miles as the first teenage Latin Spider-Hero way back in 2004, though Miguel and Miles are both biracial Spider-Men, so there is that. Come to think of it, Miguel and Miles are also alike in that both of them were (at least initially) characterized as stark contrasts to Peter Parker --- Miguel was already a fully established adult when he got his powers and tended to be terse and taciturn when in costume, while Miles was even younger than Ultimate Peter and had a quiet and nervous personality.
The spider is always on the hunt.
I can't be the only one who really wanted a Spider-Man 2099 animated series, that would have been such a rush back in the 90's/2000's
