off topic but i think x-men blue are going to 2099 to see the 2099 x-men... think they might talk about Miguel?
I mean.... I'd consider them the same guy, and just pretend the clusterfuck at the end of the original 2099 imprint to not have happened, or have been retconned by the Timestorm, or something.
Also, did Kron ever show up in any of the Venomverse stuff? I know he was on the one giant Venoms montage promo art, but all the solicits for those stories featured new Venoms, rather than all (or any, really) of the alternate Venoms that have popped up over the years..
Unfortunately, no, which was a real shame as I'd have loved to see Eddie Brock interacting with his legacy, especially given that Kron was a bigger monster as and even before becoming Venom than Brock on his worst day. No, Venomverse was mostly "new" Venoms that were alternate versions of known heroes bonded to their worlds' versions of the Venom symbiote. About the only pre-established Venom hosts there were Peter Parker, Flash Thompson, Andi "Mania" Benton, Deadpool (if you count Secret-Secret Wars and Back in Black), and Mary Jane Watson-Parker/Spinneret from Renew Your Vows. Flash was killed and Peter was assimilated by the Poisons in the first issue, Deadpool let himself be assimilated at the end of the second issue, and Andi and MJ had lines and interaction, but didn't necessarily do all that much. The really disappointing part to me was that April Parker/Mayhem and May Parker/Earth X Venom didn't actually appear to interact with their Venom-bonded parents Peter and MJ; would have been something worth seeing in light of how much suspicion April's Peter had toward her and how much Earth X Venom's Peter despised the symbiote.
The spider is always on the hunt.
