    Yeah, that’s too bad really.

Anyways, let’s do something fun... If they make a Spidey 2099 movie, what arcs should it be based on?

-First arc (remember that episode of Doctor Who in 2012? "A Town Called Mercy?"...it had the perfect candidate for Venture)
    -Vulture 2099
    -Thanatos
    -Fall of the Hammer

I feel like you could mix the first arc and the Vulture 2099 bit into one big arc, with Miguel getting dropped into Downtown earlier, and Venture hunting for him the whole while, only confronting him again when he gets back to the top, and making a big three-way fight between Venture, Spidey, and Vulture the finale of the film.

    Mine is:
    Origin Arc
    The Specialist
A merger of Thanatos and Vulture 2099
Plus I’d throw in the story where Miguel finds out Tyler Stone is his father

I'd put that as the middle act of the second movie, or the tail end (because I'm a sucker for Empire)

Mmm. If we're doing multiple films...

I'd mix Venture & Vulture together into one film.
Have the second involve The Specialist and
Have Falls the Hammer as an event film tying in with the other 2099 films (which obviously exist :P )
Have the third standalone Spidey film be the Venom arc and learning Stone is his father (the family film lol) also having Goblin around in this one.
Fourth film would be an adaption of the Secret Wars 2099 storyline, which picks up nicely from where we left off (Miguel is in charge, Ty is in a chair, etc)
    and so on...

Alas. But, even if he doesn't come up in the Fresh Start solicits, there's nothing stopping him from coming back at some point in the hopefully not-too-distant future. It's a cycle.

I recently wondered who could be a good writer for Spider-man 2099 that never wrote the character before?

Hmm, that's a good question. Depending on how well Christos Gage does with him in Spidergeddon, he might be a good candidate.

It would make sense for Miguel to show up as a member of the new Exiles team given his association with Blink in prior iterations. At least guest star for an arc should the title survive(issue #8 in September). I'm not wild about baby wolverine, replace him with Miguel.

That could work. I would be fine with seeing that. Either him or his son Gabriel O'Hara II from the last arc of the recent Spider-Man 2099 series.

As much as I like Miguel, I feel Gabby II feel like the better choice for the new exile, if only because I feel he has untapped potential

I would agree with you there, though he goes by Gabri for short.

Looks like Miguel's going to be in the new SPIDER-GEDDON event in October, even if only as a background character. He's not name-checked in the solicits, but he's on the cover of the first issue!
