#30 Wasp (Pestilence)


Another Earth, many years ago...

Realizing that one day his path would cross this world's mightiest heroes, Apocalypse struck preemptively, annihilating the champions before they could develop into a force powerful enough to stop his reign. From the husks of the fallen he carved his Horsemen to unleash hell upon all those who opposed him.


The Four Horsemen (Based on the Avengers roster circa Avengers #2 (1963) following the Hulk's departure.)

1. Pestilence: Apocrita the Blood Wasp; simply called Killer Wasp by the public (formerly the Wasp)

2. Famine: Leviathan (formerly Giant-Man. Like the Greek god, Antaeus, Pym now draws his power from the earth. But as he grows, the land is left barren and blighted.)

3. War: Dies Irae ( formerly Iron Man)

4. Death: Apophis (formerly Thor Odinson)

Interesting idea. You mean something like the "kooky quartet" Avengers of Captain America, Scarlet Witch, Hawkeye and Quicksilver? Assuming that all of those members are selections as well, won't that interfere with someone's pick?
