It won't. It will collapse under its own weight first.

I never imagined that one day I will be cheering for the downfall of sales but if that's what it takes for comic book companies higher ups to reconsider strategy and how they treat the characters then so be it.

Only problem is, since the major comic book companies are just part of larger entertainment conglomerates, a big enough downfall in sales these days may just mean the end of the comic books with the properties living on through movies, TV, video games, etc.

I am surprised to see this topic active again... Is RIC the reason of this?

That's not really a bad thing. There's no Ric in there, death of a character matters more, the continuity is more streamlined and easy to follow.

That said, I'm not worry about the disappearance of comic book itself because this is a business build on passion that have lasted for years, even though sometimes they have biased priority, so there's always going to be enough fans to support and revive the whole thing if it ever falls.

Not just RIC. Yes RIC sucks but it's all so the lack of direction and investment with nightwing and the complete lack of connection and impact in/on the greater DCU.

Beyond batman Nightwing is irrelevant. That's not what nightwing is supposed to be about. It why I what nightwing to become the DCU's greatest superspy again.

Right now can people please tell me the difference between dick as nightwing and dick as Robin (other then bludhevan) because I don't see it.
