I voted no.
100% YES!!!!
Yes, but not for a while (let Iceman have the LGBT spotlight for now)
Yes, only if the result is bisexual/pansexual
Yes, only if the result is "above labels" (BUT confirming she slept with Yukio)
Yes, only if the result is "gay for Yukio" (i.e. otherwise str8)
I want this dangling plot point explored, even IF the conclusion is she's str8
Nah, I like the mystery...
NO!!!! She's str8. Period.
I reeeeeeally want this explored, just not under Lemire's pen
I voted no.

No. Why does this keep coming up? Just leave these established characters alone and tell good stories not using the gimmick of the week to sell titles. If there is such a clamor for LGBT then why not putthe spotlight on already ESTABLISHED lgbt characters like Karma. Stop suddenly changing characters like Iceman to try and drum up some interest in them. Just go tell a good story and focus on that not trying to make social justice statements
Iceman had subtext to build on. As does Storm. Her relationship with Yukio was a hugely redefining moment for her, and Claremont wrote being with Yukio as her deepest heart's desire.
I think Storm's relationships with male characters looses nothing if her relationship with Yukio is acknowledged.
Let the flames destroy all but that which is pure and true!
This again? Storm is straight.

Leave it open....
Some of us wait, some of us act.
Why does everyone find the need to label everything. I actually don't want this to happen.
Let me just add to this that they need to stop allowing old, decrepit-looking men like Forge and Naze to kiss her. Mercy, I hope she and OML never share a kiss. They need to put her with a handsome man around her own age who is mature, intelligent, wise, and puts her second to no other person in terms of being his heart's number 1 desire. She's been attracted to T'challa, Arkon, Dr. Doom (he's got a messed up face, but a young body and he hides his horrible visage behind a mask...he'd be good-looking if not for the accident), Loki (okay, he's thousands of years old at least if not millions, but he has youthful looks), and Slipstream. (Yes, I left Logan of this list as I refuse to think of him as anything but a rebound guy for her after her divorce from T'challa.) They need to continue this trend of giving her good-looking men and have her leave those geezer-looking guys ALONE!
Edit:
Seriously, the next time a geezer like Naze, Forge or OML tries to kiss her, she needs to fry his perverted butt and bring some sexual harrassment charges against him. No court is going to look at her (if Marvel would stop uglying her up with those horrible hairdos) and look at that fogey and think she'd want him. She'd win for sure. She shouldn't even tell anybody she got kissed by somebody like Naze. That's a darn shame and a great embarassment that she should deny happening in case anybody ever tries to brings it up. Its not as if there were any witnesses there to confirm it happened. Also, I don't want to see Storm bouncing around from one man to another.

I thought her speech in 6 was awesome; and her leadership in the first arc was very good. Having her talk to Logan about taking out Sunfire reminded me of the same speech about Marrow. I'm not saying he's adding a definitive voice (like Wood has recently), but we've seen far more writers miss the mark than Lemire.
I agree, but it's the nature of comics. People don't talk about major moments "off page".
Ahhhh, now I remember. Thank-you.
It's not altering, it's expanding on what Claremont already wrote with Yukio.
Considering our LGBT solo series have included Loki (which never really acknowledged he was bi) and Mystique (which only once acknowledged she was bi in 25 issues), and Herc (who was bierased by Axel)... just actually acknowledging the character is gay in a way that makes sense is a huge +. It's miles ahead of a lot of writers at Marvel (sadly). It's not great writing, but it's good. Iceman talking about being gay with another gay mutant, makes sense. I liked it. I liked that Anole is more comfortable about it than his teacher; it's a nice twist to the teacher/pupil guidance we often get.
"We are Shakespeare. We are Michelangelo. We are Tchaikovsky. We are Turing. We are Mercury. We are Wilde. We are Lincoln, Lorca, Leonardo da Vinci. We are Alexander the Great. We are Fredrick the Great. We are Rustin. We are Addams. We are Marsha! Marsha Marsha Marsha! We so generous, we DeGeneres. We are Ziggy Stardust hooked to the silver screen. Controversially we are Malcolm X. We are Plato. We are Aristotle. We are RuPaul, god dammit! And yes, we are Woolf."
Agreed. Storm, like Iceman, has history to be explored (how anyone can see Yukio/Storm under Claremont as "nothing but a friendship" is beyond me???)
Claremont was the one who wrote Yukio/Storm, no?
I put a "no labels" option in the poll, vote, vote, vote.
It's a fallacy to assume you can't tell a good story about a character being gay. Also, being gay isn't a "gimmick". #themoreyouknow

No. People tried to make it that way just to fit a quota. Storm is straight and so is Iceman. History backs that up. Bendis used a gimmick to try and sell his bs book and it worked because of the sad state we are in especially in this day. It baffles me that fans continually fall for this stupid stuff. But not to derail anything....I voted No. Leave the whole thing alone and stop trying to force things. Focus on telling a good story for once without some current crazy gimmick to make headlines

Folks, be sure to keep your comments about what you think, no judgments about other people because of what they think. Keep it civil.
