The current version of Goku (as of the most recent episode/chapter of Dragon Ball Super) takes on Current Superman, who is basically Golden-Age Supes, but with the added power of a Sinestro Corps ring.

Location: The Neutral Planet, in the space between universes #6 and #7.

Pretty much. As far as I know, after Superman got that Solar Flare/Flash technique, he used it, and not only did it depower him for 24 hours, but it also allegedly altered his DNA, further depowering him to the point where he is at his Golden Age power levels. However, he currently owns a Sinestro Corps ring.

This is the Goku that is mod ruled to be involved in universe level shenanigans, yes? Why would a Yellow Lantern be even a speedbump to such a being? A random qi blast should go right through the autoshields and blow Clark's head off.

If the current Superman had his powers back and multiplied tenfold, with a White Lantern ring on every finger, maybe Goku would dimly perceive that the thin red mist clinging to him after flying at top speed through the spot a Kryptonian once occupied had been a solid mass before he passed through it too fast to even perceive anything was there.

I am sure that Kal could snipe Goku from orbit. Even if he no longer has his telescopic vision, with a Power Ring, you can potentially snipe someone from a few LIGHT YEARS/SPACE SECTORS away.

The point of that scene is to hammer in that Goku is too relaxed at times. But it doesn't happen all the time, especially not in actual fights, it's mainly when he thinks that the fight is over and he's about to let the villain du jour go. He lowered his defenses and got a low end feat.

Clark does not get Bedovian's skill with the ring. He's not a trained sniper, that I know at least, and he's not trained with the ring either.

If you want a scenario where Clark tries to snipe Goku set up such a scenario. Otherwise we'll just default to a regular fight with the indicated versions.
