Between February 29, 2016 and February 29, 2020 the hopefully continued succes of the Cinematic Universe can hopefully be contributed to a very joyful celebration of the one more Marvel Year has passed Comic Universe come February 29, 2020;

Not this leap year but next year (2021 The Batman) will Batman have his own stand alone movie set in the DC Extended Universe

Completing a trilogy and the third installment made a billion worldwide!

X-Men : Apocalypse

Did well at the Box office but mixed reception.
Who would have guessed that the final Fox X-Men movie (2019 Dark Phoenix) would end the franchise with a wimper?

Suicide Squad

Did well at the Box office but mixed reception.
The spin-off film (Birds of Prey) this leap year is not doing well at the Box office though.

Doctor Strange I already want sequels

Only 1 more year for the sequel: Doctor Stange in the Multiverse of Madness

2017

The Wolverine 3 last one Yay!

Logan completing a trilogy!
Glad that Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart went out with a bang!

Guardians of the Galaxy 2

Outgrossing it's predecessor.
I think it is reasonable to assume that there will be a third installment completing a trilogy before next leap year (2024).

Wonder Woman number one superhero woman icon in the lead Yay!

And this leap year will see the release of the sequel: Wonder Woman 1984 Yay!

MCU Spider-Man

Only 1 more year for the third installment completing a trilogy!

Thor : Ragnarok last movie with Thor in the lead Yay!

First individual marvel character to have more than 3 movies.
However, even though the title is Thor: Love and Thunder will Thor be the main star or will Valkyrie and Thordis be the main stars instead?
Only 1 more year to find out if the movie title is misleading or not.

Wow! As of this leap year still not released! Two more years of waiting before it finally will!

Ant-Man and the Wasp The Winsome Wasp is in the movie title Yay!

Instead of a third Ant-Man movie I have my fingers crossed for a Giant-Man and the Wasp movie, released before next leap year (2024).

Nearly 3 Billion worldwide! First marvel superhero team to have more than 3 movies.
Will the fifth installment be next leap year (2024) or before?

Wise choice to release Joker unrelated to the DCEU instead since it made 1 billion worldwide!

The New Mutants will be released this leap year. As of now it is still billed as the very last installment of the Fox X-Men universe.
Still, there might be a chance that if it does well at the Box office that it will retroactively be acknowledged to be part of the MCU.
This will then mark this leap year (2020) as the start of introducing members of the Mutant race in the MCU to the movie-going public.
