WONDER WOMAN -- Essential Reading?

So, let's say I want to introduce someone to Wonder Woman...what would people suggest as essential reading (collections, anthologies, graphic novels, etc.)? I want to be sure we cover both really great stories as well as stories important to the history. And I really want to make sure ALL periods are covered, all the way back to the beginning, just to build up a really good collection. What do you think?

Thanks, both of you. That's great. Those Archive books are great but expensive. Does WW have a Chronicles series?

There's a reason why I didn't put the former on the list. The Wonder Woman fandom is kinda divided about her New 52 solo series. Classic fans of the Pre-New 52 Wonder Woman don't like it, but newer Wonder Woman fans do love it. I do agree though that the latter is also a great choice.

I never read this one? Was this one really a Wonder Woman-themed story? Please tell me all about it (but use spoiler tags for the OP and others who don't want to be spoiled).

And I know there's a collection of the period in the late 60's when WW lost her powers. Any opinions on that?

It's very divisive. In my opinion, it's at least the most fun Wonder Woman has been since Marston.

Yeah, not a fan.

Sorry, I like my Diana awesome and powerful. I don't mind a single arc or two where she loses her powers, but try to sell me on "powerless Wonder Woman" as a new status quo and prepare to fail.

Hell, no!

She started off unable to fly, but she learned how to fly just a few issues in. Other than that? She was pretty much the same Diana we'd always known and loved power-wise. She kicked some substantial ass in that story too.
