Default GI Joe 300 last IDW issue

So I have seen the 'twist' coming since the clone talk started a few issues ago, but I did like it and got hit in the feels but... but

I Thought IDW lost the contract but

    spoilers:
it ends with a cliffhanger to be continued... what the hell?
    end of spoilers

In the real world i would be BOTH pro registration and Pro mutant rights. Xavier and Trask were both right.

Try removing the "er" from each "spoiler" to make that feature work.

I thought I had read a post from Larry Hama on his FB fan page that he was offered to keep going with the series, hence the cliffhanger ending.
But it's still a uber-ultra secret as to who now has the rights to the series.

I think that's pretty appropriate. IDW continued the Marvel line, only makes sense the next company do the same so long as Larry's up for it.

And as such, I won't be shocked if the relaunch is #301 instead of #1.

So I either imagined the FB post or it was deleted. But I swear it was there lol.
HOWEVER...what I remember is also stated in this video by Larry himself...around the 23 minute mark.
He's written #301 and will continue the ARAH series with the new company....

No...and that's supposedly an edict from Hasbro.
I think it's supposed to be officially announced next month.

Unofficially it's Skybound/Image. A continuation from #301 is a given for Larry-verse fans. I also expect a new #1 not written by him. Wonder if G.I. Joe and Transformers will be announced in the same month or if they will be split up to maximize attention. I'm curious about the future comics.

    Is Skybound/Image doing licensed comics?

A very quick search reveals they have published Lego Ninjago: Garmadon, whatever that is. So, yes.

Agreed. For what it's worth, I'm hoping the next run will be just as memorable as the one from Marvel

I haven't found any official announcement or time table for an announcement on who/when any new Joe series are coming out.
    Anyone else?
