Default REVIEW: The Legend of Wonder Woman #3

Didn't see a thread for this one yet. What did you think? I'm really enjoying this series.

One thing I was confused on was when Hippolyta gave Diana the items for her (bracelets, lasso, etc). It seems that these items are what give WW her strength, speed and flight.

What abilities does WW have naturally as the daughter of an Amazonian immortal queen?

I think the Amazons are all stronger, faster, and more resilient than normal humans but the gifts from Hippolyta crank up Diana's abilities to Superman-level.

So without those items she's no longer Superman-level strength? Has that been the case all along since the New 52?

This isn't canon for the main universe its just a digital comic so I wouldn't put too much stock into the mythos being definitive for the character

Is this correct? This series is a printing of a digital comic that isn't DC canon?

yes it's been a weekly digital comic that is being released monthly in print, unless I am mistaken every 3 or 4 digital comics wraps into a printed version.
