After the President Sabretooth Administration outlaws vigilantes in favor of regional militias, the foreign-born Avengers head to international safehouses to handle global protection. While Black Panther leads Ultimate Avengers to stave off international conflicts, Scarlet Witch heads to Braddock Manor to develop their interdimensional defense program.

I would read the hell out of that team! Wow, Monica, Moondragon, Crystal *and* Sersi? The four most powerful female Avengers (who aren't Wanda with Plot Device powers)!
Black Knight is definitely one of the lesser-seen Avengers that I'd love to see more of, along with my strange fascination with other less popular characters like Stingray, Machine Man, Living Lightning, Yellowjacket 2 (Rita) and Dr. Druid...
I wouldn't mind seeing Hellcat back, but only with a serious upgrade. Say, her (ex?) husband Daimon Hellstrom leaves the world behind (maybe dies, maybe ascends a hell-throne, either way, he's out of the picture), and the mantle of his power descends on Patsy, so she gains limited super-strength, some minor spellcasting, a netheranium gauntlet and / or sword, and the ability to channel soulfire/hellfire through it. Combined with the shadow cloak she wore for a time, she'd have an array of versatile options to give the team beyond 'athletic redhead in a catsuit.'

Iceman
HumanTorch ( Hammond)
Hyperion( Clarkish)
Witchfire

Captain Britain
Meggan
Cho Hulk. In this Imagining Brian and Meggan have split up. Its complicated . I kind of like the idea of a triangle with The Torch, Witchfire and Meggan or maybe even a double triangle with the possibility of things working out with Captain Britain and Meggan. Its been awhile since we've had any fresh Synthzoid/ magical being romance. Might be fun.

First, I would keep it to seven members. Teams too large are unmanageable, but you just can't do Cap's cocky quartet once again!
So, according to the Busiek rule, there should always be 3 founders on the team.
I take Captain America, Iron Man and while I would be tempted by Thor on the main team I will go for Hulk. Immortal Hulk would add tension on the team, he's brilliant, dangerous and unpredictable. He could have an edge the team would need.
Scarlet Witch of course and Captain Marvel because we need to see Wanda and Carol's friendship rise again.
I would pick Hawkeye because he's the voice of the average joe on the team and would always point to the nonsensical things the Avengers experience.
For the final member I would take Storm. While there have been Avengers Unity Squads, having such a proeminent X-woman as Ororo (and it's not like she's doing very much in the X-Men titles those last years!) on the main team would do much for the mutant community. And that's why I didn't choose Thor!
This is my team.
