Ah, but which Nick Fury! Is it Sr. or Jr.? Since you've got both Hawkeyes and Agent Venom, I'm thinking it's the Jr. version?
Ah, but which Human Torch?! It's most likely Johnny Storm though, since you've got Parker on the team as well, but I think it would actually have been rather interesting to see the Jim Hammond Human Torch on this one! = )
Mainly because he'd be the wild card and the straight-man on this team, since he hardly knows anyone on it - there's some neat potential to be mined there!

Stingray
I just want more Stingray.
M.O.D.O.K.
He was in Secret Avengers! Honestly, some people have difficulties taking him seriously as a villain, but I think it would be much easier to take him seriously in a Deadpool-esque anti-hero position. M.O.D.O.K. Assassin is one of my favorite marvel books of the last five years, easy. I want more of that. M.O.D.O.K. Analytic, cocky, spontaneous.
Excalibur
Faiza Hussain was awesome. The problem is, "was" awesome. She's been off the table for a while, Ms. Marvel kind of came a stole her thunder, but I'm bringing her back! Hypothetically!
Daniel Cage, Captain America of 20XX
I'm a sword and board kind of guy. I'm not swinging a sword without a shield. I think Daniel a great Captain America. I've said before, she's the best one we have out here right now. In this case she wouldn't be a leader. Here, she'd be more like Nick Fury Jr. than Nick Fury Sr. I AM the shield!
Nightcrawler
I like when X-Men and Avengers mix it up a bit for a common cause. It doesn't always have to be this side and that side. Like Champions, I want to look at a team and know that it gets the bigger picture, and if I'm going to add any X-Man, it's going to be Nightcrawler.
Invisible Woman
The BOSS. So underrated outside of the comic book community. She's...fantastic. Complex, powerful, smart, good in all the ways an individual needs to be. If Tony, Steve, or even Kamala asked me to join their team I'd be pretty hesitant (because two of them are petty and one is still pretty inexperienced), but if Sue asked me? Yes. Absolutely.
--------
One thing I liked in New Avengers is that there were members that weren't on the field, but were just as important for other functions and developments. Here's the support group:
Hank Pym
Be it Pymtron, a pym from the past, or ol' country Pym from Secret Wars, I'd have a Pym for technological support, cool pym particle stuff, and scientific babble. If he's human, I'd have him be in the field every now in then, but if he's Pymtron he'd be restricted to the lab to show restraint.
Jim Hammond
Shield Liaison. You generally want to be on good terms with shield and there's no one better to have your back than Jim Hammond. The rest are spies and black ops, but Jim hasn't played that game since he joined up. He's far more upfront and dependable.
Nightmask
You gotta have some cosmic awareness. Nightmask would warn them of cosmic dangers and interference and provide his skills and intelligence on cosmic missions.
Agatha Harkness
Sometimes magic must defeat magic.
