there are more elephant feet/foot and the holding thing. Look at Deadpool's hand when he's holding stuff, ut doesn't look like there's anything in the hand itself

It's funny how they think jazzing up Liefeld's art with nice inks and colours can stop it from looking like a big pile of trash.

It's funny how they think jazzing up Liefeld's art with nice inks and colours can stop it from looking like a big pile of trash.

Rob does his own inks, so in a roundabout way you just complimented his work.

The actual storytelling in pages two and three is actually pretty good. A character looking to the left is generally seen as being in a weak position, and that's exactly where Deadpool is. But his gun's out, he defiant. Spin the camera around (but not more than 180 degrees--he's still facing left), and we can see the monster he's shooting at, coming toward the position of power even if it's in the background. Close-up of it's head--Deadpool's a good shot, but it's not doing any good. Close-up on Deadpool, looks determined, not scared. There's a plan B.

Whatever conversation he was having with Domino, it's over. Or so he thinks, because she says something that causes him to turn around. Boom! Gun in his face, their conversation isn't over by a long shot.

Yes, it's Liefeld, and it's very possible that everything else in the book is some combination of splashes and confusing layouts on sideways two-page spreads with no backgrounds anywhere, but I don't see that these two pages deserve the mockery.
