Ugh, first Jubilee and now Dazzler? I bet Pixie will be next. What's the need to make the lighter hearted characters darker and brooder? Kitty Pryde grew up and she's hardly ever been required to be that way herself. This look I cannot see lasting, just like Storm's terrible Mohawk a sane writer will come and wipe it away down the line and most will be happy.
Ew. Not only is the design the worst combination of mediocrity and tacky, but what is up with Dazzler's facial expression? I'm very much so not impressed.
I kind of like it, it makes sense given where her head is at given recent events in Uncanny X-men. I'll have to see how it looks in series before I make my final decision though.
"It's fun and it's cool, so that's all that matters. It's what comics are for, Duh."
Words to live by.
That's just horrid.
I like fun Dazzler. That doesn't look like fun Dazzler.
I will raise my throne above the Stars of God
They took the Eye tattoo design from Age of X. They should have just stolen that design.Alison_Blaire_(Earth-TRN016).jpg

How about Alex?
Nope. Doesn't work.
Oh dear God kill it with fire before it lays eggs. I get that she's going through an angry at the world phase but ugh that looks bad. Why couldn't they just bring back her counterpart's X-Force look? That was actually good.
Yuck. And don't even mention the awesome Ultimate Dazzler that they killed in the same breath as this horribly done take on the look. Ultimate Dazzler still looked hot this looks like ugly toon version of that.
Totally agree, there seems to be this idea among a lot of writers that to become relevant and in focus a character has to lose their innocence and lighter sides and get 'darker'. It's no wonder my favourite X-Men like Kitty and Nightcrawler has pretty much defied that logic for the most part.
is dazzler a fan favorite?
Offda....nast.
