-God I am so tired.
SCOTT SUMMERS AND EMMA FROST DESERVED BETTER.
I really liked Venom War. It's really weird to think Miles is approaching 5 years in publication, cause I really don't think he's had a true signature story like Peter has.
"What about wheatcakes next time?"-Peter
"Wheatcakes are yucky."-Annie
Plus his title was relaunched twice within the span of four years.
"Tell me there's something better. Go ahead, try."
I reread the first 28 issues.
Right now I'm torn between Prowler and Venom War.
Bendis's second arc of Ultimate Spider-Man with Peter Parker was one of his best as well, so that's an interesting tradition for Miles to follow.
Sincerely,
Thomas Mets
Spider-Men was a lot of fun I thought. I'm glad it was something that happened. I know there are better stories though.
I reread the first 28 issues (plus Spider-Men, Cataclysm, Issue 200 and the second run.)
I'm going with the Prowler arc.
#200 is probably the runner-up.
There's been some good stuff in this series.
Sincerely,
Thomas Mets
So rereading the original run again, I actually really liked the Roxxon storyline that finished off his Ultimate Comics run.

The prowler is his best ....so far ,though the arc where Peter comes back was cool too ,also the Hydra arc which was kinda rushed but still cool
The Prowler and Scorpion arc wins it for me then followed by Venom War and Spider-Man No More.

I've read very little of the Miles era, but I do very much like the "Rebirth" story. However, the reason I like it is because Peter Parker comes back, which is probably not the reason we're polling this. (I actually thought that Miles was kind of the weak link in the story). But, the idea of Miles getting to meet his predecessor was a nifty idea, I liked a lot of the scenes. Miles repeating "Clone" to himself was hysterical, as was his conversation with Ganke if they should tell May Parker that the boy she raised as her son might be back in some form. MJ reflecting on the bond between her and Peter was worth the price of admission (really liked the ironic contrasts between the results of Peter choosing to trust MJ with his secret way back in the original run and Miles coming clean to Katie Bishop now).
And finally, as a person who has the Peter Parker era of USM as their most favorite comic series of all time, the ending with Peter and MJ essentially eloping was the only satisfactory way that the characters' story could've ended for me. Put it this way, until this story came out, I didn't want to read the Miles stuff. But, since this story establishes that the Peter Parker part of it had a good ending, I could enjoy the Miles stuff as a part of USM without it feeling like it came at the expense of my all-time favorite superhero.
So, favorite story of the few I read, but probably for the wrong reasons. However, the Miles comic I haven't read that I'm most looking forward to is the Venom story. I understand that it has really high stakes for Miles and the pictures of the monstrous new Venom look great.
