Oh wow -- the art in this preview is amazing. I was already pretty excited for Grayson, but now I am extremely excited. Probably not a bad move on DCs part to give Janin this issue. I've never liked those "wings" on Tim's costume, but even they look great here.

Hooray for more Tim. Still finding Harper annoying, but hopefully she'll grow on me.

    It's better for Dr. Seuss.

If they wanted a Burnham style, should have gotten Burnham.

But "Terrible" is also an incorrect way to describe it.

"Everything I don't like sucks" is how a child thinks.

More Bullock the better. Janin's art is always good too.

lol I hate Janin. #11's art was some of the best Batman art we've had since Incorporated. Only art I've liked more has been Capullo and Fabok.

And here I thought I'd left all the #11 art discussion in the actual #11 topic thread.

Well, seeing as I have no interest in continuing that line of thinking ... two things. First, Tim going techie already started back in Eternal # 5, or whichever was the Andy Clarke issue with the nanomachines. There we saw that he's using the same wristmounted hacking hologram setup that Young Justice Dick Grayson used. He was probably also made a bit more high-tech in Lobdell's Teen Titans, but who the heck actually read that hot mess?

Second thing - Harper Row is pretty techie herself, but she's also a poor kid from the Narrows who doesn't have access to Billionaire and Super-Hero level gadgets. So she might genuinely have never seen something that advanced, or she may be speaking in hyperbole. It's not as if she's "hacked the Batcomputer" and is directly contrasting Tim's software to Bruce's.

Third thing; I hope we get some Mikel Janin Stephanie Brown this issue.

Eternal should have one thread, seriously.....

This is just standard superhero art, nothing to get too excited about.

Reb Robin needs to fall in a lava pit, quickly get rescued by Steph just in time, where the only thing that burns is his HORRIFIC outfit.

Won't someone at DC think of the children?

    This.

Maybe the nanites can shred his kit, and he'll have to come up with something new, at the same time Spoiler's new costume debuts so that he doesn't look like an idiot standing next to her. Because her costume is perfect (thanks, Dustin!) and he's gonna look like a goon if he keeps doing his Falcon impression.

I really want DC to man up and use Cliff Chiang's sentai-esque Red Robin costume. Also, fighting with a bo-staff and a cape seems counterintuitive.

Honest truth? I'd settle for Brett Booth's "What if?" birdmask with the heavy red and black, and slightly techie look.

That's fine. Janin is still an incredible artist and a wealthy architect who has a comic book career that people could only dream of. I'm sure he's really heartbroken that you hate him. I heard that Nightwing #30 was originally all his art, but had to be redrawn because he heard that Iron Mike on CBR didn't like his style and he couldn't find it himself to finish.

I blame you for Nightwing #30.

What do you mean? They've been doing that since the first issue.

Hh. And all this time it was bugging me that I didn't know who was scripting! I think I assumed they were going uncredited due to the solicits and we were guessing the writers based on character/writing style
