I want to vote in this but I've only played three of these. X-men legends, X-men Mutant Academy (the game that got me into X-men), and Marvel Heroes.

Gameplay wise, which is better, X-Men legends 1 or 2? I haven't played either but was thinking of trying them since we probably won't be getting a new X-men game anytime soon.

    My Top 10 X-Men (or X-Men-featuring) Games:
(These games I have actually played for any period of time. I used the titles as listed in Master of Sound's master list, with italic commentary when clarification from Master of Sound is needed)

    1) X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse (Super Nintendo, 1994)

    2) Marvel Alliance I (PC, Facebook) Do you mean Marvel AVENGERS Alliance by Playdom?
    - The X's have good stats and abilities as well as costumes available for some

    3) Marvel vs. Capcom 1
    - Pinnacle of X-Men glory from Capcom

    4) Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 (PS3, Xbox 360, PS Vita, 2011)
    - last hurrah of Capcom-made Marvel games, hopefully for now

    5) X-Men (Sega Genesis, 1993)
    - first X-Men video game I've played, EVER (and finished too)

    6) X-Men (1992 the classic arcade game, later released for PS3) aka. WELCOME TO DIE?
    - made me laugh like White Queen with the dialogues

    7) Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes (PS2, PS3, Xbox, Xbox 360, iOS, Dreamcast, Arcade, 2000)
    - lots of X-Men here; it's just that's it's not as awesome as what came before and after

    8) X-Men vs. Street Fighter (Arcade)
    - because it really proved that Marvel characters and Capcom characters can cross over damn good

    9) X-Men: Children of the Atom (Arcade 1994, PS, Sega)
    - because it paved the way for Capcom's Marvel fighting games

    10) X-Men: Mutant Academy (Gameboy, PS, 2000)

Genkai nante nai (No limits), Zettai nante nai (No absolutes)

Thank GOD for X'97. Cautious about "From the Ashes". Please no more Blue vs. Orange.

Yeah you can get both from eBay or Amazon for pretty cheap. I bought both recently and X-Men: Next Dimension for GameCube bit you can play GameCube games on Wii and even use a GameCube remote controller.

X-Men Legends I is better IMO just because of the character list.

    Legends I

Wolverine, Cyclops, Beast, Gambit, Emma Frost, Jean Grey, Jubilee, Psylocke, Iceman, Rogue, Nightcrawler, Colossus, Magma, Professor X, Storm

    X-Men: Legends II

Cyclops, Wolverine, Storm, Magneto, Toad, Juggernaut, Scarlet Witch, Gambit, Rogue, Bishop, Jean Grey, Deadpool, Professor X, Ironman, Iceman, Nightcrawler, Colossus

X-Men Legends II allows for multiple Comic accurate costumes (Legends I only has one extra costume bit only available after beating the game)

Legends II also allows you to keep your saved lvls after you beat it Legends I doesn't.

Legends II also had online but the servers are down these days

So Legends II is technically superior but Legends I had a better roster imo.

But I'd highly recommend both for any X-Men fan

    I love my X-Women squad for mission's

    Storm - Leadership
    Rogue - Tank
    Emma Frost/Jean Grey
    Psylocke - Badass

Finally someone noticed. It was a joke from my end (I know, I can be sooo lame). Will take it out.

With just a few X-Men in this, I do not count this one as an X-Men game, sorry.

    X-Men: Legends or go home.
I was trying to do too much and not doing any of it as well as I could. But I've had a change of mind... though not everyone shall enjoy it. I will.

Guys, there is a difference between Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Ultimate Marvel 3 vs. Capcom 3, but Ultimate is just an updated version with some extra characters. So, for this election we will just use the original title: Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds

It also has Rogue, Sinister, the Marauders. Also: Deadpool. Every main character is an X-character.

    ===UPDATE===

As usual, I give an update some halfway the voting period.

These are the games who did not get a whole lot of votes so far. If you would like them to end up high on the countdown, do put them (high) in your top 10.

Deadpool (PS3, PS4, Xbox, incl Rogue, Wolverine, Psylocke and more)
    Marvel Alliance I (mobile game)
Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects (PSP, Xbox, Gamecube)
Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 (1 didn't but 2 has more that enough X-Men in it)
    Spider-Man/X-Men: Arcade's Revenge (Gameboy, 1992)
    Uncanny X-Men (Nintendo, 1989)
Uncanny X-Men: The Days of Future Past (IOS and android, 2014)
Wolverine (Nintendo, 1991, included Jubilee, Havok, Sabretooth and Psylocke)
    X-Men (Sega Game Gear, 1994)
    X-Men 2: Game Master's Legacy (Sega Game Gear), 1995
X-Men 3: Mojo World (Sega Game Gear, 1996)
X-Men II: The Fall of the Mutants (PC, 1990)
X-Men: Destiny (Nintendo DS, PS3, Wii, Xbox, 2011)
X-Men: Madness in Murderworld (Commodore, 1989)
X-Men: Mutant Academy (Gameboy, PS, 2000)
    X-Men: Mutant Academy 2 (PS, 2001)
    X-Men: Mutant Wars (Gameboy, 2000)
    X-Men: Next Dimension (Gamecube, PS2, Xbox, 2002)
    X-Men: Reign of Apocalypse (Gameboy)
X-Men: The Official Game (Gamecube, Gameboy, Nintendo DS, 2006)
X-Men: The Ravages of Apocalypse (PC, 1997)
