Default If Zack Snyder leaves the DCEU, who should take his place ?

I was thinking about Bruce Timm since he did a great with the DC animated universe. If the general audience is that desperate to see funny comic book movies, thats the guy who can make it happen. A list writers like Grant Morrison should be there to assist him.

My first call would be to George Miller with an offer he can't refuse. He seems pretty intent on making Mad Max sequels though. Next, I would ask Nolan what it would take to jump back into the genre. Both are unlikely, but sometimes it's hard to say no to the $s WB could/should offer up. The real homerun would be JJ Abrams, but I doubt that has any chance of happening unless you give him part ownership of WB

Perfect suggestion,I'll add Jonathan Nolan as well. He was the fan out of the Nolan brothers,be wary of Superman fanboys for the Timm suggestion though. They think he ruined Superman for some reason that continues to elude me.

Oh and George Miller doesn't like Supes and his JL film idea didn't look remotely impressive or inspiring.

I'd try to get those Russo Brothers.
Things I love: Batman, Superman, AEW, old films, Lovecraft

Grant Morrison: “Adults...struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life. Adults foolishly demand to know how Superman can possibly fly, or how Batman can possibly run a multibillion-dollar business empire during the day and fight crime at night, when the answer is obvious even to the smallest child: because it's not real.”

I don't know. I honestly think Snyder is perfect for the DCEU.

I like Bruce Timm, but don't know much about his track record on live-action properties. Everything I know about is work is related to animation.

No comic book or animated people. We need competent film makers who know what they're doing. George Miller is a perfect candidate.

WB (or Disney, for that matter) would never give any real influence to animation or comic book people. Completely different ballgame. Besides, in the end it's all down to the studio heads anyway.
    As of now:
All-Star Batman, Batman, Doom Patrol, The Flash, The Fix, The Flintstones, Green Valley, Hadrian's Wall, The Hellblazer, Moonshine, New Super-Man, Suicide Squad, Superman, 'Tec, Unfollow

I'm also down for Chico, Harpo, Groucho and their somewhat lesser known brothers Karl and Richard.

I have nothing against Snyder as well but the critics won't let it go. They hate him and his movies. He needs to go. The bad publicity needs to go away. Its time to bring positivity into the DCEU.

The Coen Brothers. I mean, why not? At least point it can't result in something any further removed from the comics.
