This is a pretty big deal for the Bat-books. So I thought I'd start a thread to discuss peoples feelings, and maybe predictions about this revelation.

The "ALL NEW" Spider-Man's Tangled Web-Show ON YOUTUBE!!!!
The Joker's been revealed. And his name is...
JOOOOHN CENAAAAAA!!!!
At least that's something I'd consider buying
...does it really matter?
Seems like something that would be of little to no consequence. I doubt Joker will ever get a definative origin, so what does his real name matter?
...besides likely being some crappy pun, ala Joseph Kerr.
I don't really want to know. I don't think defining him as a certain person will give anything to the character nor do I want to know if Joker might not be entirely human.
But i don't want to know the Jokers real name.
And then it looks like Rebirth kicks off with Batman looking for the answer to something. If the Joker's name does get revealed, it's not necessarily going to stick...
I think this should be in a Batman book not Justice League
The J-man
It will be underwhelming
I hope it's not something like his real name is Bruce Wayne
unless its a well established character thought to have died long ago, or something of the sort, then its pointless. even if so then its changing the joker into something less. please just no

It's one of the DUMBEST moves in comic book history. The Joker's real name is one of those mysteries that we don't want to know because the character's mystery is what makes him special. By giving him a real name, you humanize the character and he becomes less of a threat. One of the best things about The Joker is that his name is something that "The World's Greatest Detective" has been unable to solve; and it took using the ultimate mcguffin, The Mobius Chair, to get an answer. So the real name not only hurts The Joker, but hurts the creditability of Batman himself.
I really hope this doesn't happen and Johns is just trolling us or something.
We don't need this and we don't want it.
Joker should be the Joker or at least Jack Napier. Other than that don't care.
agreed w/ others - stupid and unwanted.
Comics were definitely happier, breezier and more confident in their own strengths before Hollywood and the Internet turned the business of writing superhero stories into the production of low budget storyboards or, worse, into conformist, fruitless attempts to impress or entertain a small group of people who appear to hate comics and their creators. -- Grant Morrison, 2008
