    Default Spider-Man Discovered in the 1950s ?!?

This is some very interesting information right here!!!

It is always argued about on who really created The Amazing Spider-man.

Was it Stan Lee? Steve Ditko? Jack Kirby?

Or was it the famous costume designer Ben Cooper? Be prepared to be shocked!

Read this so you can come up with your own conclusion.

I actually heard about this quite some time ago.

I didn't watch the whole video because I found it kind of annoying, but the costume looks a LOT less like Spider-man when you see it in color.

(This is actually the second version of the mask. The first had the hood that went over kids heads, but it was too hard for them too see in. It did, however, lead to the first bit of Marvel merchandising EVER. Ben Cooper was already making a spider man costume, so when marvel published "Spider-man" they made a quick agreement with them and changed the costume slightly.

    Into this.

It's kinda neat that seven issues into his career, Spider-man fans already had a costume of his available for them to wear.

So, no, then. The original costume is a vaguely similar idea, but there's no way in heck THAT inspired the comic book character.

You know what, while I'm on the Ben Cooper Spider-man kick, here...

Here's two adds that show artwork of the Ben Cooper Spider-man suit.

and as an added bonus ...

    Spider-man wearing a Spider-man Halloween costume!

So if we've learned anything from this, it's that the Halloween suit needs to be an alternate costume in the next Spider-man game!

Or at least show up in Spider-verse. Even if he's just standing in the background somewhere.

Any chance of this Spider-Man appearing in Spider-Verse?

    Yes, that would be amazing!
"Has Sariel summoned you here, Azrael? Have you come to witness the miracle of your brethren arriving on Earth?"

"I WILL MIX THE ASHES OF YOUR BONES WITH SALT AND USE THEM TO ENSURE THE EARTH THE TEMPLARS TILLED NEVER BEARS FRUIT AGAIN!"

"*sigh* I hoped it was for the miracle."

Dan Watters' Azrael was incredible, a constant delight and perhaps too good for this world (but not the Forth). For the love of St. Dumas, DC, give us more!!!
