What did your favorite X-man do, that they no longer do, and you miss?

Character traits I miss:
Beast being a lovable furball with hilariously witty commentary
Cyclops as a nerdy stick in the mud
Psylocke's Britishness and poise (not POSE, that's all she does anymore)
Cannonball's salt-of-the-earth southern charm
Nightcrawler thinking he's a pirate
Iceman the prankster, whose jokes almost always backfire
Gambit cooking and Rogue trying to steal samples
Storm endorsing nudism, nurturing not just her plants but the entire Xavier estate

As a whole, I really miss them eating dinners together. Playing sports is a close second.

Given the era that comic is from, if she were doing that she would be saying so out loud and in intricate detail. With exclamation marks.

Jean has used the latter method before when Cyclops was under Magneto's mind control way back in the day when CC & Jim Lee launched X-men. She was drained from using so much TK energy to get to Asteroid M, that she was reduced to reading minds when the battle actually started.

P.S. I miss Psylocke's precognitive flashes. I also miss when she'd grab someone by the hair right before psi-knifing them lol.

But the consensus was just because you can read their thoughts, doesn't mean you can react properly, or against people who fight and think in sync, it's impossible to know where they are gonna hit ya. That's why Telepaths are considered squishtastic, since they let their " I know your moves" fails constantly. lol.

I agree that has been their downfall at times, but there's also times when telepaths succeed with that very same strategy. It's not 100% either way.
