It's criminal that there have been so many X-films and not one scene of them going to Harry's Hideaway. Absolutely no fun, this Singer!

I also miss smarty pants Monet, with telepathy to rival Emma. I know it was the twins, but they were emulating Monet.
Let the flames destroy all but that which is pure and true!

    X-men being united.
    Cyclops leading the x-men
Wolverine being wolverine(at least old man loagan is doing that just a pity they screwed wolverine's character so much they had to bring in alternate version)
The new mutants being a x-men team.

Yes!! That's the scene! I agree that the 90s kept that familial aspect. Hopefully we can get a semblance of it back someday. Like within the next 5 years lol.

I forgot about Harry's! Loved that!

I also loved the M twins as Monet and those weird trances she'd have.

Borrowing terminology from the present self of one of past Marvel Letter Columns' big-name letter writers, a certain GRRM.....

We are in the midst of the Long Night; how long is the wait before a trusted mind and determined pen shall step forth to TAKE BACK THE DAWN?

My favorite X-Man had a soulsword she would summon to take on magical threats.

Now she has a surfboard that she straps to her back and stabs any ol' thing she wants.

    Le Sigh.

Undue influence of Tetsuya Nomura in FF7? Or Tite Kubo in Bleach?

I would dare to say there's total unanimity here. Not as if Marvel would give a damn... ¬ ¬

So, yes, count my vote too. And Logan smoking cigars, Kitty gutting junk and having dance lessons, Ororo talking with her plants and swimming naked, Piotr painting, Sam reading Sci-Fi books, Illyana reading Playgirl, Dani swimming before dawn and taking care of the horses, Shan working with Xavier, Berto flirting and playing videogames, the X-Babies in a slumber party...

    As for my favorites?

I miss Kurt watching old adventure movies, keeping his belief to himself, fighting with Logan (and paying for the beer), and telling stories to the children.

I miss Rogue being just 'Rogue', a foul-mouthed punk crackpot gal like a bull in a china shop. No Southern Belle Marie, please.

I miss Longshot being something more than a pretext to make naughty jokes. I miss him playing a real role as a character, not just wallpaper in order to lift the others up. I miss his synesthesic expressions and his involuntary verbal terrorism (it's such a foolishness to put sarcasm in Longshot's mouth!). I miss his walks alone. I miss his Diogenes syndrome. And, given what we have seen, I miss his mullet, since each hairstyle is more catastrophic than the prior one (is it really so difficult to simply cut his hair short as Immonen did in Ultimate X-Men, or to the contrary let it grow straight long free as Zulli did in his One-Shot?).

Like many have said already, I miss the humanizing elements that made the X-men the X-men. For the last 1o years every single issue has been about them being an endangered species, or some group or government is trying to wipe out all mutants. One or two issues in a row with some down time isn't a bad thing Marvel. Having each and every single issue action packed is a little much.

Rachel used to be in multiple ongoings at the same time before Secret wars.

Now she's in limbo because of downsizing and Tean.
