I never expected a story centered on El Diablo would feature a new Checkmate, Uncle Sam, and a fight with (a new?) Parasite. Some times it pays to be in a big comic book movie .

Indeed I describe Blue Beetle as more Miles Morales. And no not because they are both latinos that does factor in I suppose.

El Diablo getting some much needed attention! Even though he's a villain or anti hero depending on how you see it, he could use some more use in the comics. His powers are cool!

Actually El Diablo had a mini series in 2008. In one issue he fought Uncle Sam and the Freedom Fighters.

I wonder what will happen if El Diablo ends up resonating with a lot of fans after the Suicide Squad movie, could that lead to a push in the comics?

Well then hopefully he doesn't die in the movie. That would be bad. Besides I enjoy reading about redemption storylines, plus not all the Latino characters can be heroes and thats where Bane and El Diablo come in.

Is it safe to assume that Jaime is DC's top Latino character/hero? I mean he may not be in a up coming live action movie like Diablo (yet) or on a tv show like Renee and Vibe are but he is the most consistently used both in comics and outside of comics.

    Another marvel show,powers.
    It's not mcu.
It's like the dc show izombie.
    In their own universes.
    Anyway it's another superhero show.

    Powers season 2-
Timothy Douglas Perez as FBI Special Agent Schlag – the silent, granite-skinned Power who's the partner of Lange and tends to act as the muscle of the pair. (Season 2)

Raul Casso as Sgt. Tiberio Martinez - an amputee army veteran and MMA fighter recruited by Harley to test his prosthetic technology, who soon becomes his protégé on the rode to becoming a tech powered hero. (Season 2)
