Question Help for a newb :)

Hi. I have been reading Batman comics for a while, watching the movies, reading trivia, etc. So far buying comics was mostly walking to the store and buying what caught my eye, but now i wanted to do some ground work and took my various books to sort the according to the timeline and fill in the missing volumes from the recommended lists.

What i'd ask of you is to help me with three titels:

Batman: Armageddon (Das jüngste Gericht) by: Hine/Nicieza/Brandon/March/Guinaldo/Bachs

Batman: Child of Dreams by Kia Asamiya

The Timeline i put together is based upon the redommended list here and some others i found online: (owned)

    Batman: Year One
    Batman: The Man Who Laughs
    Batman: The Long Halloween
    Batman: Dark Victory
    Batman: The Killing Joke
    Batman: The Cult
Batman: A Death in the Family
Arkhum Asylum: A Serious House on a Serious Earth
    Batman: Knightfall
    Batman: No Man‘s Land
    Batman: Hush
    Batman: City of Crime
    Batman: Widening Gyre (Der Teufelskreis)
    Batman and Son
    Batman: Black Glove
    Batman R.I.P.
    Batman by Paul Dini
    Final Crisis
    Battle for the Cowl
    Batman and Robin 1-2
    Time and the Batman
    The Return of Bruce Wayne
    Batman and Robin 3
    Batman Incorporated
    Batman: The Black Mirror
Batman: Whatever Happened to the Caped Crusader
    Batman: The Dark Knight Returns
    Batman: The Court of Owls
    _______

    All*Star Batman
    Batman: Black & White
Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight

    Thank you

Not sure about those titles you're trying to sort into the timeline, but I believe your existing timeline is a bit off. If you mean the DKR by Miller, that shouldn't be on the list as its non-cannon and in the future. And I think Whatever Happened to the Caped Crusader is closer to RIP and Final Crisis. But looks good otherwise. You should buy all those Morrison ones you don't own, along w/ Black Mirror and DKR.

But again, sorry, no clue about Armageddon or Child of Dreams.
Comics were definitely happier, breezier and more confident in their own strengths before Hollywood and the Internet turned the business of writing superhero stories into the production of low budget storyboards or, worse, into conformist, fruitless attempts to impress or entertain a small group of people who appear to hate comics and their creators. -- Grant Morrison, 2008

In case you're looking to add a title to your list, you should also consider: Bruce Wayne Murderer? and Bruce Wayne Fugitive in between No Man's Land and Hush.

BTW the other one i was looking for is a german cover and has no exakt equivalent but consists mainly of "Gotham shall be judged" so it's pretty much at the end of "Modern Batman"

    So everything's cleared
