Yay! I was going to log in to the forums to post the news of your death, but I couldn't remember my current username or my password, and I wasted all five login attempts.
(yet another old-timer crawls from out of the woodwork...)
Fly, I heard about your 'death' just before going to sleep last night. Upon waking up this morning, I found out you were not, in fact, pining for the fjords. I didn't even get a chance to write up a semi-eloquent response. Seriously, that's just like you, Fly.
Cue a lot of 'Escape From New York' references ("I swear to God, Fly, I thought you were dead." "Yeah, you and everyone else.").
Oh, and until you get your Facebook access, you do realize we're going to run havoc all over your wall, right?
The sleuth is out there.

Fly- While I knew you not as well as some, I wanted to tell you that I am glad you are not dead.
Excavated painstakingly from the cat-mines of lower Litterboxistan, it was concealed cunningly behind a particularly rich pisscuit-vein. He had to fight of a posse of nefarious claim-jumpers to get it, but his unerring fly-senses led him straight to it.
And that's precisely how it happened.

God, I remember that! I must have been crazy as hell then. Didn't also involve hitch-hiking?
Also I remember when you had crutches and I said to you, "Can't you see that those are just crutches?!!" Or something like that. It did happen didn't it? (It's just that I'm so old and take a lot of psych meds).
