Considering Jim Lee's sale of Wildstorm to DC basically made him a part of the company and the merger of the Wildstorm universe with the DC universe during Flashpoint has forever solidified his partnership with DC forevermore, I'd say no.

Anyway, I like the new costume. A friend of mine said that he wasn't a fan of the blue boots, but this morning, it was pointed out to me that Superman's first appearance in Action Comics #1 featured the Man of Steel in blue footwear.

I like it. I do wish there was a little more red somewhere on it to make up for the lack of red boots and underpants, but I'm glad the collar's gone. It wasn't offensive or anything. It just seemed a little out of place.

At any rate, I'll be getting back onboard Action Comics against come Rebirth time, so the initiative seems to have done its job in that regard.

The blue boots is what I like best. Sharp and, as you stated, hearkens back to the very first Superman costume. Love it.

I still find it stupid that they seem to be killing of New 52 Superman he was just getting good he just got his powers back and now it seems like they're killing him off for the older version.
