So an ongoing debate in some of the idiot corners of Doctor Who is why a female Doctor is important.
I love Jessica Cruz. Not only am I able to relate to her anxiety(although my issues leaving the house revolve more around the brutal surgery I had 3 years ago) and she is really.. normal. She's not in a bathin suit that only covers half her ass and her boobs aren't Watermelons perched on a triple 0 frame that also appears to have 6 months of corset training. She looks like a normal attractive lady.
Anyways, I was at Costco and kept on referencing their close time as being "outside the steel" and realized it sounded very much like a Justice League reference.
And I sort of used Jess. I just said "You can just see Green Lantern looking at Superman and she would say 'Ok I'll meet you outside the steel' and then she'd fly off"
Just something about identifying a character as Green Lantern and GL being a woman was quietly wonderful.
I've always kind of loved Green Lantern for the fact that several people can be seen as 'The' Green Lantern without anyone being replaced.
And Jess is my favourite since Jon Stewart. And that comic where Guy Gardner is wearing a sports bra.

So Jessica is a fan of Nirvana. That's freaking amazing. At first I was kind of surprised that someone her age would know who Kurt Cobain is but comics is geek culture so I probably shouldn't have been. If Kyle knows about Ric Flair and The Four Horsemen, damn right Jess would know about grunge music.

I think with this any debate over who has the coolest constructs is over. Sorry Kyle, you had a good run, but the only way you can come back with this would be if you made a Freddy Mercury construct.
Jessica is at least 6 or 7 years older than me, and not only am I a big fan of Kurt Cobain, but so were/are a lot of the people I knew in highschool and know in college.

A nice piece I saw up on twitter by Clayton Crain featuring Blink and Jessica. I guess they can be the green team.

Jessica appears in the premiere episode of DC Super Hero Girls season 4:
She's voiced by Cristina Miliaza.
Wow! It's so surreal to see Jessica in animated form! Especially since she's such a young character! Then again another one of my favorites, Blue Beetle, was super young as a character when he made his animated debut!
Anyway, I love her already! Can't wait to see more of Jessica!

That happens every so often. Spider-Woman (another Jessica, lol) got her own show shortly after debuting 40 years ago. Kamala Khan is already in Avengers, and she debuted less than four years ago. Spider-Gwen was in the last season of Ultimate Spider-Man only two years after debuting in the comics, and Miles Morales was already a regular in that show, he's barely over six years old and this was three years ago in USM season 3. Harley Quinn and X-23 even appeared in cartoons before they ever appeared in the comics.
