Hopefully Ryan picks the correct actors for Cable & Domino and allows Vanessa to become CopyCat this is all important for X-Force or any potential Cable solo film.
Hopefully it's not someone on a Ron Perlman or Stephen Lang level

At least it seems that Tim Miller, and Deadpool, are still on good terms. He's still working with Fox, and is likely still working with Reynolds on X-Force.
Reynolds is still involved, heavily, and he's still got the writers, so I think this movie is still in good hands.
It'd e awesome if Vaughn jump into the director chair of this movie, tho.
The crazy thing is, this potentially effects the end credits stinger for Logan. Mr. Sinister's appearance, and might very well effect X-23's appearance in X-Force. They better get a handle on this quick...

Doesn't sound especially 'amicable'. Kinda worried about who they can safely attach in Miller's place, since it sounds like the director will be dancing to Reynolds' tune.
The X-Books Board is wretched and does not deserve the Domino Appreciation Thread.
For me Deadpool was great movie because it was a mix of comedy, action, drama and love story.
I hope they will be able to make this mix in sequel and don't turn it into full comedy.
Why cant a movie be stylized and raunchy

Word is the split was over who will play Cable not Reynolds wanting to go raunchier or any such bs.
Yeah, and the first film was plenty raunchy. I think the debate was over Miller wanting to go with a heavier, more stylized approach and Reynolds wanting to maintain the raunchy, comedic tone of the first. That doesn't mean he wants to go raunchier or more comedic. Just that he doesn't want to change the tone too much from the first one.
Which would be fine, just don't get carried away.
Considering they struck pretty much the perfect tone, I kind of have to side with Reynolds here. Stylistically they shouldn't stray too far from the first. I wouldn't say have Cable play a similar role as Colussus — they exaggerated his straight lacedness to the point it became comical — but his seriousness against the crazy tone of the first movie would be perfect.
Looks like the golden goose may fly the coop! Silly Hollywood!
Let the flames destroy all but that which is pure and true!
Well, if they wanted to go "meta" they could just cast Arnold as Cable...
