Who Is Your All-Time Favorite Big Screen Batman?

In honor of the 25th Anniversary of Michael Keaton donning the cowl in Tim Burton's "Batman," CBR wants to know, which actor gave your favorite big screen Dark Knight performance?

    Keaton for me.

The only one I genuinely didn't like was Kilmer (even Clooney was OK, despite the limitations of his dialogue and the movie in general). But Kilmer was dull, and that's something Batman should never be.

Kevin Conroy. He will always be The Batman.

Christian Bale was good, but that gruff voice was just too much.

Kilmer. I had a longer post about it on the tv/film forum version of this poll.

    My list would be

    Kilmer
    Bale
    Keaton
    Clooney

Still Keaton for me. I was three when that film came out. Everything about it remains the definitive take on Batman, in the way the previous generation hold the West iteration as such and the following generation saying the same about Bale.

Keaton and Kilmer are neck and neck for me.

Mask of the Phantasm has some of the worst acting of any theatrical bat-movie, and that includes B&R. Well-written Batman/Bruce, but some of those scenes are delivered just painfully.
Patsy Walker on TV! Patsy Walker in new comics! Patsy Walker in your brain! And Jessica Jones is the new Nancy! (Oh, and read the Comics Cube.)

    Bale, by a wide margin.

    I'd rank them as follows
    1) Bale
    2) West
    3) Kilmer
    4) Conroy
    5) Clooney
    6) Keaton
    7) Arnett

    Same. Keaton is the King.

He played a strong and tortured Bruce Wayne. Very brooding. His Batman was the urban legend that turned into a boogeyman for Gotham's Criminals.

I like Conroy. I can't vote for him against the live actors. He did a fraction of the work. Not fair to put Conroy nailing a voice over others doing a full performance.
