Speaking of those Global Guardians, a new version of Thunderlord could be neat. One that's less of a sonic blaster like Black Canary, and has more subtle uses for sonic powers, like being able to match the resonance frequency of something and *bolster* it (strengthening / healing the target), or emit a subsonic tone while fighting that disrupts the inner ear of other people so that they are off-balance and become nauseous, etc. (And yeah, still able to belt out the sonic attack, when necessary, although they find that a 'disharmonious' or 'inelegant' use of their powers, best saved for last resort.)

Oh wow, I did not know what his powers were, actually! That is similar. I guess I was tapping into the same well of pseudo-mystical harmonic resonance 'song of creation / vibrations of the universe' bullpuckey that the creator of APP was.

Outside of Katana and Cassandra Cain ...and maybe the nee Cheshire are there any other Asian characters that will be popping up in Future State?

There is a lack of asian male heroes and characters in general although I guess we can count the new Gotham mayor as a new asian male character.

Well I totally forgot about Swamp thing who is a South Asian male character, although this is one of those instances where representation can be debated on considering he's a living plant thing now instead of a human character.

I think he's cool! And I'm all for the legacy hero as heritage hero character. And I think it's cool to get Vietnamese-American rep in the form of a superhero!

I just wish he wasn't functionally confined to another universe that hasn't had word of a new graphic novel featuring him.
