Power Puff Girls with new powers!

The PPGs have manifested a new power in the show. It is like a Lantern Corps light construct around their bodies. It can fire projectiles, whack an opponent and the like.

Given their already Kryptonian level abilities, does this move them above similar level folks? Could they now find the JLA or Avengers (classic lineups) to be no challenge? They haven't fully worked out their powers yet.

They used to use it against the RRB all the time.

Well, they were saying it was new in the latest episode and one of them (I forget) didn't manifest them and was upset until she could.

This pretty much puts them on Sodam Yat/Silver Surfer level. They're pretty dang fast, though, so it might be a struggle for either the JLA or the Avengers to take them down if they're in full blood lust mode (without it if CIS kicks in, the hero teams win easily), and the PPG may end up killing one or two of them before Superman or someone stops them.

Oh yeah, I heard they were doing a new show. SO is it supposed to be a continuation of the old show, a reboot, some one new's take on it? Or What?

It's a continuation. It also has a new tie-in comic series.
