New Spider-Man: Homecoming Casting

I'm taking this with a big grain of salt but:

- So Ned and Betty are both in high school with Peter? Are they just going to completely ignore the Bugle again ?

- Lot of rumors saying Woodbine is Shocker, but why is he #2 on this cast list? Is there more than one Shocker?

- So we've got Sally Avril and Tiny McKeever in there as well?

- Tiffany Espensen is playing Cindy Moon ?

- The principal is actually related to Jim Morita, unless it's a Morita Life-Model Decoy.

- Abraham Attah is playing...Abraham.

- So Miles Warren has a sister now apparently?

On the one hand, I don't see any reason to believe this is official
On the other hand, if it were fake I would have assumed whoever made this would have put abraham as miles

Ned being in high school was confirmed weeks ago, and Betty has been rumored to be Angourie Rice's role as well.

As for Shocker - this looks like it was taken from the cast list for a particular scene (probably school related - since Aunt May, Tony Stark, Vulture, etc. are not here, and they skip a bunch of numbers). So there's probably a Shocker #1 somewhere...

Oh and Jason Ionello is there too... Looks like a scriptwriter really like Untold Tales of SM

I guess they don't have any plans for the Bugle at all if they've de-aged Ned and Betty, or at least put Betty in school with Peter. There hasn't been any obvious casting for Jonah or Robbie either.

Unless maybe they're going to use Glory in Betty's job?

Electro's race wasn't the problem in ASM2. It was the direction they took the character that was the problem and I doubt any actor could've pulled it off.

Shocker would also have a different role here as he's unlikely to be the main villain.

Aside from comic "purists", will anyone actually give a damn about Shocker being played by a black actor? I mean he's never been a big foe and his real identity never really meant anything anywhere else. In Spider-man TAS his role was nothing more than being a henchman for Kingpin(his real name was never even stated in that cartoon) and in Spectacular Spider-man they made Montana of the Enforcers Shocker because like Greg Weisman said "Who is Herman Schultz?"

No I meant Electro and Shocker are the two Spidey foes a lot of people mix up. So I was thinking it would be unlikely they would feature in two subsequent movies (despite being two different continuities) and both be played by black actors. Also, it funnily perpetrates the "black superheroes/villains with electricity/lightning powers" trope (Storm, Static Shock, Black Lightning). I know Shocker is not exactly electric-based, but given the name and the ambiguous visuals of his powers, I can see where the confusion arises from.

I wish it was Chameleon or Mysterio instead just for variety sake.

People really confuse Electro and Shocker a lot? Other then having yellow as a primary color in their costumes, there's not much similar between them visually.

Glover makes about as much sense as Jonah as he does Robbie.

Then again, when you've got Tony Revolori as Flash, Jacob Batalon as Ganke pretending he's Ned Leeds, Angourine Rice apparently playing Betty Bran(d)t who's just in high school and is probably too young to be Jonah's secretary, I honestly wouldn't be surprised at more crazy casting/character decisions.

Race aside, at least Harrier and Zendaya fit the characters they're playing.
