The Spawn news was the best news for me coming out of Image Expo, I'm really excited for Al's return. Loved Jenkins work on Spiderman and Witchblade, so hoping he does Al justice.

Jenkins is a good find. Would be interesting to find out what happened with Morrison and Wood.

Probably just new versions of the same old characters mostly.

Although Cog is long overdue a new figure. Id like a Jim Downing, and maybe a Freak-bolgia.

Also, Haunt if he counts.

Theres not really been many new characters. At least figure worthy non-civilian characters imo.

I would love to see Mcfarlane make some Spider-man figures based on his art. I don't collect toys but i'd buy those in a heartbeat

Wait...they never did anything for the Armageddon characters - Zera, Thamuz, The Disciple, the 4 Horsemen, Man of Miracles? I'm quite surprised, their is a ton of stuff they can do just with that arc.

Yeah they got figures. But there were still a bunch that never didn't. Hell, I'd even go for an Omega Spawn.

Ah gotcha. Felt like I remember they did something with those characters back then.

Todd posted something interesting on his Facebook page - the evolution of the Spawn costume from 1992 to 2015. Pretty cool.

Absolutely loved issue 249. I cannot wait for 250 and to see where everything ends up going.

Also, speaking of new Spawn figures. Todd confirmed they will be making new ones soon (in the letters sec. of 249). So that is great news!.

tho I admit, I never have understood the "giant boot" that Capullo likes to draw. How the hell does he move in it (never mind jump around so much).

^ I think the big arm gauntlet and big boot are because it's only phase #1 of Spawn's final form which would obviously then have 2 big arm gauntlets and 2 big boots, and whatever else Todd has in mind.
