    I think the Rebirth issues are kind of "#0" issues, setting up the new status quo for the titles without actually starting the story arc that will begin in the first issues of each series.

    The Rebirth issues are all one-shots that from the sounds of things will be "orientation" issues, for lack of a better term. Batman #1 will be the first story issue of the new series.

    ETA: #0 issue. That's the term I was looking for.
